TSUK is recruiting a number of general assistants to help at Sutton Tennis Academy during two tournaments taking place over the Easter holiday period.

This important but varied role will include setting up courts, finding players, watering clay courts, assisting the tournament organiser, referee & team of officials and other duties to help ensure that the tournaments run smoothly. On some days, help will be needed in scoring mini-red tennis matches and assisting with the mini-orange events.

Applications are welcome from candidates aged 16 or over with a knowledge of tennis. You must be physically fit, a good communicator, able to work as part of a team and available to work for a minimum of 4 hours a day. Shifts may be split into two sessions a day so the job is more likely to suit applicants who are local to Sutton Tennis Academy in Surrey. Hours are likely to vary and you may be required to work at any time between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm.

Players who are taking part in the tournament are welcome to apply and working hours will be arranged around matches. Players who have successfully completed an LTA Competition Organiser's course will be given preferential consideration, although this is not a requirement.

Pay: £5.40 per hour. An additional payment of £0.60 per hour will be made to "LTA Competition Organisers". Payable in cash on completion of a time sheet/invoice which will be provided.
