TSUK is recruiting assistants to help with the mini-tennis
events at the Surrey County Championships this year at Sutton Tennis Academy on
Sunday 27th August, Monday 28th August and Saturday 2nd
September.
Assistants are vital to the success of mini-tennis
competitions and provide help with setting up courts, finding players, scoring
and other duties to ensure that players and parents have a positive competition
experience.
Applications are welcome from candidates aged 15 or over
with a knowledge of tennis, particularly mini-tennis scoring formats. You must
be physically fit, confident, a good communicator, have a clear speaking voice and able to work as part of a
team and available to work for a minimum of 4 hours a day. Shifts may be split
into two sessions a day. Hours are likely to vary according to the needs of the
competition and you may be required to work at any time from 8:00am onwards. No
evening work is anticipated.
Pay: £5.60 per hour increasing to £7.50 for
helpers aged 21 or over. Payable in cash on completion of a time sheet/invoice
which will be provided.
