TennisUK is delighted to announce that our autumn competition programme is now published and features many events and tournaments between now and the end of November 2010.

Over 130 one-day matchplay events have been scheduled between now and the end of November at Sutton, Hatfield, Southampton and the LTA National Tennis Centre in Roehampton on both indoor and outdoor courts. All events take place at the weekends in the afternoons and evenings. Matchplay events are run in several age groups and provide an excellent means of match practice for both adults and juniors against opponents of similar standard. Results are submitted to the LTA for ratings purposes for all Tennis UK matchplays.com events.

Matchplay events tend to be very popular in the autumn, so an early application is recommended. Please remember that you may cancel any application without charge up to the published cancellation deadlines (4:00pm on the Tuesday prior to each event) without charge. Players and parents are reminded that applying for multiple events on the SAME DAY (within the Tennis UK matchplays.com programme) IS permitted – our system ensures that no player can be selected for more than one matchplay event/venue per day. Players submitting multiple applications stand a far greater chance of selection.

We are also managing several autumn and winter tournaments this season, including:

2 x LTA grade 3 rankings competitions.
3 x LTA grade 4 rankings competitions, and
2 x Grade 3 Mens Open SuperSeries tournaments.
1 x Grade 3 Ladies Open SuperSeries tournament.
1 x touchtennis event.

- 11^th, 12^th, 18^th and 19^th September – Wargrave LTC (Berkshire) BOYS 16&U SuperSeries tournament (Grade 4.
Weekend only tournament for BOYS born between 01/04/1994 and 31/03/2000. Play takes place from 12:00 noon daily.
This competition takes place INSTEAD OF the usual weekly matchplay events at Sutton Tennis Academy (Surrey).

APPLICATION DEADLINE - 2:00PM, THURSDAY 2^nd SEPTEMBER.

- 12^th September 2010 ONLY – touchtennis event (Non LTA Sanctioned)
Exciting one day mixed-singles event taking place on acrylic courts at the LTA National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, London. Uses basic tennis principles played on a smaller court with soft balls to minimise the benefit of power and maximise the skills of strategy and touch. A real leveller with some innovative rule variations and over £700 in prize money! Open to all players aged 16 and over

 - 17^th to 23^rd October - The Sutton Tennis Academy Autumn Open Tournament No.1 (Surrey) Grade 3.
Traditional week long tournament for junior and adult players. Singles and doubles.

 - 23^rd, 24^th, 30^th and 31^st October - Sutton Tennis Academy Mens INDOOR October SuperSeries (Surrey). Grade 3.
Weekend only Grade 3 tournament for adults and older junior players. Indoor play during the afternoon and evening.

 - 25^th to 30^th October - Carshalton Open Tournament (Surrey) Grade 4.
Popular local tournament for adult and junior players. Includes 10 & under event.

 - 25^th to 30^th October - Teddington Open Tournament (Middlesex) Grade 4.
Established Middlesex tournament for adult and junior players. Singles and doubles events. Includes 10&U singles events.

- 31^st October to 6^th November - The Sutton Tennis Academy Autumn Open Tournament No.2 (Surrey) Grade 3.
Traditional week long tournament for junior and adult players. Singles and doubles.
