Sutton Tennis Academy (STA) is the country’s first indoor junior tennis centre. Located in South West London, 4 miles from Wimbledon. Sutton Tennis Academy was established in 1990 and is one of the UK’s leading tennis facilities. Our summer open tournament is a GRADE 3 LTA rankings competition which returns to the LTA calendar for the second year. We shall be staging men's/ladies singles open events together with junior events from 10&U up to 18&U and several one-day doubles events throughout the week. The tournament is aimed at intermediate and advanced players. Play will take place on a combination of indoor acrylic and outdoor clay courts. Covered clay courts in an air hall (dome) may also be used as a weather contingency or if the temperature and humidity conditions are suitable. The tournament therefore provides a guarantee against the weather.

It is the intention to use conventional scoring i.e. two standard tiebreak sets (6-6) with a deciding match tiebreak at one set all for all main draw singles events (weather permitting). 10U and all doubles events will use FAST4 scoring.
