TSUK is recruiting assistants to
help with the mini-tennis events at the Surrey County Championships this year
at Sutton Tennis Academy (Better @ Sutton Sports Village) on Tuesday 28th
August, Saturday 1st September and Sunday 2nd September.
Assistants are vital to the success
of mini-tennis competitions and provide help with setting up courts, finding
players, scoring and other duties to ensure that players and parents have a
positive competition experience.
Applications
are welcome from candidates aged 15 or over with a knowledge of tennis,
particularly mini-tennis scoring formats. You must be physically fit,
confident, a good communicator, have a clear speaking voice and able to work as
part of a team and available to work for a minimum of 4 hours a day. Shifts may
be split into two sessions a day. Hours are likely to vary according to the
needs of the competition and you may be required to work at any time from
8:00am onwards. No late evening work is anticipated.
Pay: £5.90 per hour increasing to £7.38 for helpers aged 21-24 and
£7.83 for helpers aged 25 or over. Payable in cash on completion of a time
sheet/invoice which will be provided.

may be conducted and successful applicants will be notified by email or
telephone no later than the evening of Tuesday 21st August.
